THERMAL FORMING

Reflection

This is my first time to use a laser cut and thermal forming. At first, I depend a lot to my lecture and my friends to help me do the laser cut as I'm afraid of making a mistake when setting up the power of the laser but as time goes I started to get used to set it up by my self and it's actually fun to try up how much speed and power you need to cut certain thickness of paper or carton. As for thermal forming, it really needs a group work in class as you can't do it by your own self and you have to be careful not to make any hole when you heat the plastic. and you need to be careful of what you choose to work with. If you use something from steel it'll be hot after you finish it so don't try to directly touch it and be careful not to make some plastic stuff melt.
