Creative Brief
Yeo’s were looking to take their Juscool brand in a new direction, dialling up their use of real fruit juice to make their drink. Their Juscool are designed to be light carbonated, use real fruit juice and flavorful targeted for the younger generation. Trouble was, even though they claimed that the drink was made with real fruit juice, they looked just the same as every other carbonated drink.
So, I created a concept of a fun carbonated fruit drink with peach illustration and the logo of the Juscool I tried to make it playful by tilting the o and put a splash illustration on the middle top of it.
The result was a style with illustration and some kind like a watercolour background. Most carbonated drink in Malaysia used photography instead of illustration, so my approach was to use an illustration. I also took the bold move to use black as the label colour.
Feedback
The design is very crude. There's no balance in the design and the information hierarchy is not very clear. The font size very small and makes readability poor. You can place the top information to different position
Reflection
I am actually struggling when I'm doing this assignment as I really have no idea on how am I going to make this works, I tried my best to come out with some good ideas but I still think that this is actually not my best work.
