Description
Ideation is the mode of the design process in which you concentrate on idea generation. Mentally it represents a process of ‘going wide’ in terms of concepts and outcomes. Ideation will help you:

  • Ask the right questions.
  • Get obvious solutions out of your head.
  • Uncover unexpected areas of innovation.
  • Create volume and variety in your innovation options.
You are required to collect 100 iconic symbols. It can be places, people, objects and scenes that represent the city Kuala Lumpur. It has to be unique and portrays the local cultural in every context.

Think more, Google less.

Requirements / Submission
100 iconic symbols, places, people, objects and scenes accompanied by a short description for each of the selected symbols.
Visual collage in A4 (the more the merrier).

Objective
To generate well-founded opportunities that have a good prospect of creating value in the end-market, and which match a brand’s strength and strategy.

      Feedback

Try to look at something other than architecture and focus more on the wow side of KL.

      Reflection

      Experience

This is actually fun at the first few weeks until we can't do architecture anymore and we have to start looking at something that connected to our brand.

      Observation
So as I started to look at what can be related to my brand as I'm focusing on the language and slag. so when I found out about some slang that's in Oxford dictionary because from what I experienced some people when you say Malaysia what they know is only KL, so I thought why not I use it in my iconic symbol.

      Findings
I find it actually fun if only you don't procrastinate too much.
