Some examples of magazine, the first magazine is The Gentleman 1731, but it's only a journal for rich people. in 1928-1940's Vu, a magazine from France contains a lot of photography and not much text. AIZ from Germany came after world war that may became the one to give hope.

From the class section a lot of comment that I need to refine more from what I have, as this one I make everything from 0 with pen tool.

After I refine it with a font that's available and do some refine we agree with this design.
Feedback
The first sketches (figure 1) not working and there're not much to pick from it. The first digital masthead not working well need more work on it.
Reflection
Experience
The exercise was actually quite hard as it's my first time to design my own masthead for my own magazine.
Observation
The exercise is good for me to start to design my own masthead that I hope could do much more better in the future if I have a chance to design a masthead again.
Findings
I realize that I should find more ideas, more references, I need to start to train myself to work not only for project but also for my own self experience.
