Lecture 1
So today the class started with an introduction of everyone inside the class because we just meet our lecture, Ms. Lilian. After doing some introduction we talk about our simple layout design that we do on InDesign as a starting to know how to use InDesign that we did a week before with Mr. Hafiz and Mr. Jeffrey. After that, Ms. Lilian brief us a lil bit on our project 1 as we were already told about it a lil bit from Mr. Charles and also Mr. Hafiz. We are also given an exercise to do research on typography that we will use for our project 1

Description
To develop your understanding of the practical employment of typography, a series of exercises will be implemented. Students will apply what they have learnt from lectures and discussions in these exercises, which will be assessed and contribute to the overall mark of the module. It is important that students work on these exercises with commitment in order to fully understand the design principles involved. The knowledge and skills developed will be applied to the accompanying projects.
All exercises prescribed are to be completed and documented (labelled, clean, clear & concise) in your e portfolio and hardcopy portfolio respectively.
The exercises are as follows:
To complete and to showcase mastery in the exercises prescribed in its various forms. The work is compiled chronologically in an A3 Folio and documented on the students’ e portfolio.

So I did quite a lot of research on the typography, check on the embedded file here
Feedback
Good research and a lot of attention to details for the line spacing point size. But some of it not really work so research more on Univers as body text and modern serif for the title also futura as the title and modern serif for the body text.

Reflection
Experience
The class started so fun even though we're a bit behind because there're so many public holiday on the beginning. I did quite a lot I found it help full for me and especially on my work.
Observation
The exercise is good for me to explore more and even more. More choices for me to pick and I actually can do a lot if than in the past if I'm willing to do it seriously.
Findings
I realize that I should use my time wisely so I can research more and not just doing a bit and wait for the lecture to tell me what to do. When I do more, it also helps my lecture to know what style do I want to achieve in this project.
